The New York Football Giants SNOW BOWL A Flag Football Tournament to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey Competitive Division-Saturday February 7, 2009 Recreation Division-Sunday February 8, 2009
Thank you to all of the teams that participated in the 2009 New York Giants Snow Bowl to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey. Together you raised more than $60,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey…twice as much as last year’s event!
Special Olympics New Jersey and The New York Football Giants invite you to participate in the Third Annual Snow Bowl Flag Football Tournament at Giants Stadium!
This official 6-on-6 flag football tournament with light-blocking is played over
two days: the Competitive Division plays on Saturday, February 7, 2009 and the
Recreation Division plays on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Teams are allowed up to 15
players and all must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Field size is 20
yards x 40 yards with each team guaranteed three games in Giants Stadium.

Food and locker rooms are provided for all players. Enter the raffle to win signed
New York Football Giants merchandise each day of the tournament.
All proceeds collected by the flag football teams benefit Special Olympics New
Jersey athletes and help foster the Special Olympics mission:
To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety
of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities,
giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate
courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship
with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
The Snow Bowl was first introduced in 2007 and has raised more than $50,000 for Special Olympics
New Jersey. The success of this event directly helps more than 17,000 athletes who
train and compete free-of-charge, year-round in 23 Olympic–type sports.
