The 6th Annual New York Football Giants Snow Bowl
to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey
At MetLife Stadium
March 3-4, 2012

Special Olympics New Jersey and The New York Football Giants invite you to participate in the 6th Annual Snow Bowl Flag Football Tournament being hosted at the MetLife Stadium!

This official 6-on-6 flag football tournament with light-blocking is played over two days: a Competitive and Recreation Division play on Saturday, March 3, 2012 and a COED and Recreation Division play on Sunday, March 4, 2012. Teams are allowed up to 15 players and all must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Field size is 20 yards x 40 yards with each team guaranteed three games on the field in the MetLife Stadium. (For rules and more detailed game information please click here) Food and locker rooms are provided for all players. A raffle will be held each day to win signed New York Football Giants merchandise.

All proceeds collected by the flag football teams benefit Special Olympics New Jersey athletes and help foster the Special Olympics mission:

To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Since its inception five years ago, the Snow Bowl has raised more than $260,000 for Special Olympics New Jersey. The success of this event directly helps more than 22,000 athletes who train and compete free-of-charge, year-round in 24 Olympic–type sports.
